The Halo 100x is a practical lighting solution for content creators and videographers who need studio-quality light with more output for small spaces. Adjust settings on the light using an intuitive TFT screen with a simplified color menu, or control it wirelessly up to 262' away with your smartphone using the amaran app with one-tap NFC. Unlike the previous 100x S, the Halo 100x can run with the included AC to DC adapter, via USB-C PD input, or with the optional amaran Peak series.
Without Complexity
Get 4890 lux at 3.3' (4300K) with a wider beam angle for more uniform, diffused output without hotspots. Adjust color temperature from 2700 to 6500K and brightness from 0–100% with stepless dimming. Control is available on the fixture, via Bluetooth, or with an optional DMX adapter. Operation is simplified with separate brightness and color temperature knobs.
Maximum Control
With built-in NFC, you can pair the Halo 100x (or multiple Halo series lights) in the amaran app even before powering it on. Advanced users can add a separately available USB-C to 5-pin DMX in/out adapter for wired DMX control and integration with standard consoles and software for cues, multi-light looks, and repeatable scenes.
Detailed Color Fidelity System
High color-accuracy ratings (CRI 96, TLCI 97, SSI 84/74, and TM-30 94/102) help ensure consistent, accurate color reproduction. The Halo 100x’s spectral quality supports natural skin tones and reliable color from warm to cool white light, both on camera and to the eye.

Choose from nine built-in lighting effects: paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulsing, strobe, explosion, and fire. Active cooling keeps the unit cool and quiet for video work—down to 28 dBA (smart mode)—with silent, smart, and high fan modes for sound-sensitive environments.
Wide Compatibility
A reinforced full-size Bowens mount supports optional mini reflectors, mini Fresnel attachments, and a wide range of Bowens mount modifiers. A 1/4"-20 to baby pin adapter with a tilting bracket and umbrella holder is included for compatibility with umbrellas and stands. The Halo 100x stays ultra-compact at 5.2 x 4.7 x 2.2" while maintaining full Bowens mount versatility.
Travel-Ready Options
For maximum flexibility, the Halo 100x can run via USB-C PD with separately available amaran Peak series batteries using the optional Ace E-lock adapter. The optional amaran Peak can provide about 40 minutes at 100%, while the Peak 75 provides about 52 minutes of runtime (limited to 60W).
