The Light OctaDome 120 Bowens Mount Octagonal Softbox from Aputure has eight sides to transform any point source Bowens-mount light fixture into an ultrasoft area light, blanketing your subject or set in diffused light. It has a large 47" diameter and two front diffusers, plus an inner baffle to allow you to fine-tune intensity and light quality. The shape offers balance between a square frame or a fully circular softbox. It is lightweight at 3.75 lb and can be flat packed for on-the-go shooting.
The OctaDome 120 features a silver interior to maximize light output, and includes a foldable 45° grid to add directional output and reduce light spill. The set includes a Bowens-type speed ring, but is also compatible with other types of standard speed rings.
