A variety of flash modes and Godox's 2.4 GHz X wireless system make the V1mid S TTL On-Camera Flash a go-to flash unit for Sony cameras. Offering similar features to the brand’s V480 and developed as the little brother of the popular V1, the V1mid features a compact body with a round head for softer, even lighting results.

The shoe-mounted V1mid S is compatible with select Sony cameras with TTL automatic functionality. It delivers up to 650 full-power flashes, a recycle time of 1.7 seconds, and reliable performance right out of the box. The flash supports auto/manual zoom, rotates 330°, and tilts from -7° to 120° for bounce flash flexibility.

A 2" touchscreen interface and rechargeable battery ensure ease of use and long-lasting shoots. The V1mid S is ideal for photographers seeking smoother light transitions, compact size, and better mobility. Included accessories feature a detachable battery, power accessories, mini stand, and storage bag.

Uniform Light Quality

Multiple flash modes and Godox’s 2.4 GHz X wireless radio system provide TTL automatic functionality and a wide range of automated flash settings. Manual mode allows for customized exposure, with adjustable output from 1/256 to full power.

Additional features include multi-flash mode, second-curtain sync, flash exposure compensation (FEC), and high-speed sync up to 1/8000 sec.

2.4 GHz X Wireless Radio System

The integrated 2.4 GHz X wireless radio system enables wireless triggering and expanded shooting capabilities. The V1mid S is compatible with the separately available XPro II, X2T, X3, and X3Pro Godox transmitters.

With a wireless range of up to 229', users can select from 32 channels and configure up to five groups. In addition to hot shoe and wireless triggering, the flash includes a 2.5mm sync port for wired connections.

Effective Battery Power & Other Highlights

Powered by a 7.2V, 2200mAh lithium rechargeable battery, the V1mid S provides up to 650 full-power flashes with a recycle time of 1.7 seconds. Flash duration ranges from 1/600 to 1/20,000 sec.

A built-in 2W LED modeling lamp offers a color temperature of 5300K (±200K) with adjustable brightness levels from 1 to 10. Battery indicators on the display provide real-time power status. A USB-C charging cable and adapter are included.

Note: After high-intensity continuous flashes, the system automatically extends recycle time to allow for safe heat dissipation and protection.
